You've decided to leave and the letter should be short, warm and final.
Write my resignation letter. Keep it under 150 words. It must contain: that I am resigning, my last working day based on my notice period, and a genuine line of thanks. Nothing else is required. Rules: - No grievances, no feedback, no explanation of why I am leaving unless I explicitly ask for one. The letter goes in a file and outlives the relationship. - Warm but not effusive. Professional but not cold. - Offer a specific handover commitment rather than a vague "happy to help with the transition". Then, separately from the letter, give me three talking points for the verbal conversation with my manager, which should happen before this letter is sent. My situation, notice period and last day:
Raises and moves. Promotion cases, reviews, offers, hard conversations and deciding whether to leave.
