Make this cheaper without ruining it

A recipe you love with an ingredient list that has quietly got expensive.

List these ingredients by cost, highest first, and leave the cheap things alone. For the top three, give a cheaper cut, form, or shop, and say honestly what changes in the result. Name the one ingredient not to economise on. If the savings would be trivial, say so instead of proposing changes.
