When a meeting felt productive but you cannot say what was settled.
Read the meeting record below and separate real decisions from things that only sounded like decisions. For each apparent decision, classify it as: - **Decided**: a clear choice, with someone accountable for it. - **Preference expressed**: someone stated a view and nobody disagreed. Silence is not agreement. - **Deferred**: discussed, then postponed without saying so explicitly. - **Assumed**: the conversation moved on as though a choice had been made, but nobody made it. For everything not in the first category, state what still needs to happen, who needs to decide, and by when. Then name the single most consequential thing that everyone will believe was agreed but was not. Meeting record:
Decisions and actions. Pulling what was settled and who owes what out of a set of notes, and catching what was not.
