A packet collection in January and no plan for what gets sown when.
Build me a sowing calendar for the seeds below, worked backwards from my last frost date. 1. Confirm my approximate last and first frost dates from the location I give, and say how much they vary year to year here. 2. For each seed: sow indoors or direct, how many weeks before or after last frost, germination temperature, time to germinate, whether it needs potting on, and when it can go outside. 3. Produce a **week by week calendar** from now to planting out, listing what to sow each week. Group them so I am not starting seeds every single week. 4. Flag anything that must not be started early, because leggy seedlings and root bound transplants are worse than sowing late. 5. Note anything that resents transplanting and should be sown direct regardless of what the packet says. 6. Tell me how much windowsill or propagator space each batch needs at its largest, since that is the real constraint. Seeds I have: Where I am: Indoor growing space and whether I have grow lights:
Growing food. Crops worth the space, sowing calendars worked back from frost, and pairings with real evidence.
