Writing fiction and using the planets as a character-building framework.
Use astrological archetypes as a structure for building a character for fiction. This is a writing exercise, so treat the symbolism as a toolkit and nothing more. For the character brief below: 1. Assign a Sun, Moon, and rising, and say in one line each what each choice is doing for the character: public self, inner life, first impression. 2. Add two planetary placements that create an internal contradiction, and describe the contradiction as behaviour rather than as astrology. For example, not "Mars in Pisces" but "gets angry three days late and apologises first". 3. Give me five concrete details that come out of this pattern: a habit, an object they own, a way they end conversations, a thing they lie about, a thing they are unreasonably good at. 4. Name the flaw the chart implies and the scene where it would cost them something. Do not explain the astrology to the reader. The chart is scaffolding and should be invisible on the page. Character brief:
Writing and craft. Horoscope voice, ritual text, card descriptions, and fiction built from the archetypes.
