Fix the structure before I write more

You have a draft or a pile of points and the order feels wrong.

Work on the structure of the piece below. Ignore sentence-level writing entirely.

1. State the argument in one sentence, as it currently reads. If you cannot, that is the finding.
2. List the sections in order, each with the job it does.
3. Tell me which sections are out of order, and why the new order is better.
4. Tell me which sections do the same job twice.
5. Tell me what is missing: the step a reader needs that is not here.
6. Give me a revised outline as a numbered list, one line per section.

Be willing to say the structure is already sound. Do not reshuffle for the sake of showing work.
