Plan all the gifts for an occasion in advance

Christmas, a big family birthday season, or any month with five people to buy for.

I have several people to buy for. Help me plan this once rather than panicking repeatedly.

1. Take my list and set a total budget, then split it per person. Tell me where my allocation is inconsistent with the relationships I have described.
2. For each person, pull out whatever I have said about them and turn it into one direction to search in, not a finished idea. Direction first, shopping second.
3. Identify which gifts need lead time: made to order, personalised, posted abroad, or requiring a size or a date. Give me the deadline for each.
4. Flag who I have no idea about, and give me the one question to ask someone else about them this week.
5. Give me the order to do things in, with the first action to take today.

Do not invent details about anyone I have described only briefly. Ask instead.
