Plan a reading session start to finish

Sitting down to read for yourself or a friend and wanting more than shuffling and hoping.

Help me plan a reading session as a structured practice.

Give me:
1. **Framing the question.** Two or three questions to ask before drawing anything, to work out what is actually being asked. Include how to redirect a question that is really asking for a prediction.
2. **Scope.** What this session will and will not attempt, stated explicitly, so it can be said aloud at the start.
3. **The sequence.** Preparation, the draw, first impressions before interpretation, interpretation, and closing. Give rough timings.
4. **Recording.** What to write down so the session is useful to reread in three months.
5. **Limits.** A short script for what to say if the person asks about illness, death, pregnancy, money, or legal trouble. Cards are not the right tool and the session should redirect to a professional, kindly and without drama.
