Stop the poem tying itself into a bow

The last two lines explain the poem instead of ending it.

Look only at the final third of the poem below.

1. Say whether the ending resolves: does it summarise, moralise, or hand the reader a conclusion they could have reached themselves?
2. Identify the last line that still carries genuine pressure. Everything after it may be the poem explaining itself.
3. Test three cuts: ending at that line, ending one line earlier, ending one line later. Show each and say what changes.
4. Offer two new endings that close the poem's music without closing its meaning. One image-based, one that ends mid-motion.

If the current ending is genuinely earned, say so directly and tell me which line earns it. Do not manufacture a problem.
