Deciding between wide, long, or pre-aggregated before you build anything.

Help me choose the data shape for the report described below.

Compare at least three options, which may include: a long or tidy table with one row per entity-metric-period, a wide table with one column per metric, a pre-aggregated summary table, and querying the raw source live.

For each, state:
